What is the Repair and Rebuild committee?
The Repair and Rebuild Committee is comprised of experts in various specialties in the construction industry, including contractors, building materials suppliers, permitting navigators, disaster case managers, and others. They are committed to contributing their time or materials to those affected by the Holiday Farm Fire.
Can I volunteer with the Repair and Rebuild committee?
Are you a contractor, subcontractor, architect, building supply distributor or retailer?
Do you have the time and desire to help others through the process of a rebuild?
Can you offer expert advice to people who are in the process of rebuilding their home?
Do you have access to or the desire to lead a group of volunteers for a short- or long-term building project?
Do you have access to materials you can provide for free or at a discounted rate to fire survivors?

Is the McKenzie Valley Long Term Recovery Group looking for projects?
YES! If you have a volunteer opportunity, we will try to match your project with our community volunteers to see if we can find the perfect match! We are always looking for short-term projects for skilled and unskilled laborers. If you are a group looking for a team-building project or want to lead one, let us know.
What if I just need advice about a project?
Chances are good that if we can’t answer your questions, we know someone who can! Please let us know if you have specific job site questions or need information about permitting. We will do our best to help you find the answer you need.
What are some examples of projects the McKenzie Valley Long Term Recovery has supported?
A family with a young child needed a fence for their yard so that their child could play safely. The LTRG partnered with Oregon Department of Human Services and Homes for Good to supply labor and materials to build a fence – all in one day!
A person bought a Manufactured Home they intended to repair on their own and found themselves with a lot of questions. We had a contractor available to answer questions and get them going in the proper direction.
Do you have free or discounted building materials?
We might! Please inquire about donated materials or vendors who have offered discounts to the Residents of the McKenzie Valley rebuilding. Just ask!
